Worms Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Tonight. A line of strong thunderstorms have developed along a line from roughly Stockton Kansas to Grand Island to Columbus Nebraska as a cold front passes through the area. These storms are expected to progress east northeastward throughout the evening hours. Wind gusts up to 60 MPH and quarter sized hail are possible with strongest storms, though a brief tornado is not out of the question. After about 8 to 9PM, the intensity of these storms is expected to decrease. Along with the chance for severe weather, localized areas of 2 to 3 inches of rain are possible in the strongest storms. While widespread river flooding is not expected, brief and minor flooding may result.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
