This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north central Nebraska.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Critical fire weather conditions continue through late this evening for areas mainly west of US-83. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the eastern Panhandle, western Sandhills and far southwestern Nebraska until 10 PM MT.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Critical fire weather conditions return on Monday across the eastern Panhandle. Gusty southerly winds up to 40 mph and minimum relative humidity as low as 16 percent is expected. A Red Flag Warning is in effect late Monday morning into Monday evening. Thunderstorms are possible Monday night across the region with a marginal risk for severe storms across the central Sandhills and portions of north central Nebraska. Hail and damaging winds is the main threats. The threat for thunderstorms will continue Tuesday through Wednesday morning. At this time the severe threat is low.
