This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north central Nebraska.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. Near critical fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon into the early evening hours over the eastern panhandle and western Sandhills, or west of a line from Ogallala to Merriman. Minimum RH this afternoon will range from 18 to 25 percent and west wind gusts up to 35 MPH are possible. Scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening, primarily across southwest into central Nebraska. At this time, there is a marginal risk for severe storms, generally east of a line from Ansley to Bartlett. Gusty winds are the main severe threat.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. Thunderstorms are possible again Tuesday through Sunday across the area. At this time, the threat for severe weather is low.
