Shields Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north central Nebraska.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. Hot temperatures are expected for much of central and southwest Nebraska. Afternoon highs in the middle to upper 90s combined with humidity will lead to heat indices nearing 100 degrees in spots. Thunderstorms will become likely this evening along a frontal boundary stretching from north central through southwest Nebraska. A few storms may be strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
