This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north central Nebraska.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Showers and thunderstorms are possible across the area this morning. At this time, the severe threat this morning is low. Later this afternoon, thunderstorms are expected to develop off to the west of the area. As this activity transitions east this evening, there is a threat for isolated severe thunderstorms. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats. At this time, locations west of a line from Springview to Hayes Center, are the main areas of concern for severe storms.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and evening across the area. Some storms may reach severe limits with large hail and damaging wind gusts. The main area of concern for severe storms is west of a line from Bassett to Curtis. Another round of thunderstorms is possible Tuesday afternoon and evening across the area. Severe storms are possible with damaging winds and large hail The main area of concern for severe storms is south of a line from Antioch to Sargent. There will be a daily threat for thunderstorms Wednesday through Saturday across western and north central Nebraska. At this time, the severe threat is uncertain.
