St. Catherine Catholic Church Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move in from the west after 1 AM tonight. A few of these could be strong to marginally severe with wind gusts of 50 to 60 MPH, mainly in areas near and south of Interstate 80.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. On Saturday afternoon, heat index values could exceed 100 degrees in portions of northern Kansas. Another round of scattered thunderstorms is expected to arrive from the west and southwest late Saturday night. Like previous nights, a few of these could become strong to marginally severe. Multiple rounds of heavy rain could also lead to localized minor flooding. Spotty thunderstorm chances continue Sunday and Monday, but many areas will remain dry.
