This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north central Nebraska.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible during the late afternoon and early evening hours Thursday. An isolated strong to severe storm is possible mainly north of a line from Ogallala to Springview. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats. Hot temperatures will develop Saturday through Monday across the outlook area. High temperatures will rise into the upper 90s for many locations with some areas approaching 100 degrees over the eastern Panhandle and southwest Nebraska. The threat for thunderstorms will increase on Sunday evening across the area with the threat continuing into Tuesday. At this time, the threat for severe storms is uncertain.
