This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. Patchy dense fog
with visibilities as low as one quarter of a mile
will continue across parts of the local area through the mid-morning hours. A dense fog advisory is now in effect for much of south central Nebraska as well as north central Kansas through 10 AM CDT.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Portions of the forecast area are expected to reach heat index of 100 degrees, or slightly higher, each afternoon Saturday through Monday. A chance of thunderstorms returns Saturday. The first of these chances comes Saturday morning across central Nebraska. A second round is possible Saturday evening into Saturday night, primarly in southeastern Nebraska. A few of the Saturday evening storms may be strong to marginally severe.
