This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. A storm cluster is expected to develop mainly across south central Nebraska this morning, primarily between 4-11AM. These storms will likely line up along and south of Interstate 80. Severe weather is not anticipated with this activity, although a few of the stronger storms could produce wind gusts up to 50 MPH and small hail less than 1 inch.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Areas of patchy fog may develop around sunrise Thursday morning across the area, with visibilities down to 1 mile possible at times. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the southeastern portions of the area Thursday night, though severe weather is not anticipated. With temperatures expected to increase over the weekend, heat index values may exceed 100 degrees Saturday through Monday, especially in north central Kansas. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings
