This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Tonight. A few scattered thunderstorms will be possible to develop this evening and tonight across mainly a limited portion of the area. Most storms should remain fairly weak, though a more isolated and potentially stronger storm may still be capable of producing gusty winds up to 60MPH with hail up the the size of quarters.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday. Heat index values will mainly peak between 100 to 105 degrees across a majority of the forecast area Sunday through Tuesday afternoon. The warmest temperatures will generally be more concentrated towards far southern Nebraska and north central Kansas locations. A few strong to marginally severe storms could return for mainly areas north of I-80 Monday evening.
