This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Tonight. A few scattered storms is expected to pass through few portions of the area tonight between mainly 10PM and 8AM. A few storms could become strong to marginally severe with the best overall potential west of highway 281. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 MPH will be the primary severe concern with any of the stronger storms that develop.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Afternoon heat index values near or slightly above 100 degrees will continue across mainly portions of north central Kansas each afternoon through Friday.
