This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. A few strong to severe storms may be possible to cross in to a few portions of the area mainly west of HWY-281 this morning. The strongest storms will be capable of producing wind gusts up to just over 60MPH with heavy rainfall. Though a few isolated storms may be possible this redevelop this evening and tonight, the threat for severe weather remains limited. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. The potential for strong to severe storms return overnight Monday for portions of the area north and west of the Tri-Cities. Large hail and damaging winds would be the primary threats. Heat index values exceeding 100 degrees will be possible Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons. Isolated areas east of south of the Tri-Cities may reach up to 105 degrees on Tuesday afternoon. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings
