This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight. Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible during the late afternoon to evening hours mainly along and southeast of a line from Cambridge to Hastings to Osceola. The primary concerns will be wind gusts to 70mph and ping pong ball sized hail. While any potential severe weather threat should end by 11 PM, chances for weaker storms will persist across our area well into early Tuesday morning.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. Between Tuesday and Sunday, there will be several additional/intermittent chances for thunderstorms within our forecast area. At this time, the risk for severe weather appears relatively low.
