This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. A few non-severe scattered storms will continue to cross through the area through the rest of the morning. Heat index values may exceed 100 degrees this afternoon across a few north central Kansas and Nebraska locations east of HWY-281.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. The potential for strong to severe storms return overnight Monday for portions of the area mainly north and west of the Tri-Cities. Large hail and damaging winds would be the primary threats. Heat index values exceeding 100 degrees will be possible Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons.
