Countryside Christian Church Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight. An isolated thunderstorm or two will drift southeast across areas from Furnas County Nebraska to Smith County Kansas into the early afternoon hours. No severe weather is expected. Elsewhere, there is a chance of an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm mainly in south central Nebraska after 4 PM. The most likely area is north of Grand Island, including Ord and Greeley. The main hazard would be large hail around golf ball size and wind gusts in excess of 60 MPH are possible with these storms. These storms are expected to move from north to south, though storm coverage will be limited. Any storm that develops will likely diminish by midnight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday. Strong to severe storms may impact the area on Friday. The main severe risk will be Friday evening into Friday night. Large hail and damaging winds are possible with these storms.
