This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and portions of north central Kansas.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for areas near and southeast of a line from Alma, NE to Osceola, NE. Heat index values as high as 107 degrees are expected this afternoon. A cluster of storms is expected to push into the area from the west later this evening and overnight tonight. A few of these storms may become strong to severe. Hail up to the size of quarters, wind gusts up to 60MPH and locally heavy downpours will be the primary threats for the strongest of storms.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&
