This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central North Dakota, northwest North Dakota, south central North Dakota, southeast North Dakota, and southwest North Dakota.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible through tonight. A few storms may be severe, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Potential hazards include large hail up to golf ball size, damaging winds up to 70 mph, torrential rain, and perhaps a tornado.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible on Labor Day. Potential hazards include large hail up to golf ball size, damaging winds up to 70 mph, torrential rain, and perhaps a tornado. Strong west winds are likely on Tuesday, with near-critical fire weather conditions possible in southwest and south central parts of the state, and critical fire weather conditions possible in the far southwest.
