Patchy dense fog through 900 AM this morning
There are patches of dense fog over portions of the Coastal Plain early this morning. The fog is expected to burn off by 900 AM. Until then, use caution as visibilities will be lower than 50 yards in low lying areas.
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Areas of dense morning fog are possible, mainly from the Triangle Area south and east through the Coastal Plain through 900 AM. Otherwise, hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. High heat and humidity will return Tuesday and last into Thursday and Friday. Expect highs in the mid to upper 90s Tuesday through Friday, with heat indices of 100 to 110 each day, highest in the southeast.
