PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday. High heat and humidity will continue Friday with heat indices of 105. There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe storms Friday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind will be the main hazard.
