Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 126 and 178. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 162, and between Mile Markers 222 and 274. the Durham Freeway between Mile Markers 15 and 17.

There is a Slight risk, level 2 of 5, of severe storms this afternoon and evening. The primary threats will be damaging winds and frequent lightning.

Tuesday through Sunday. More hot weather is expected Wednesday through Thursday, with heat indices up to 104 degrees possible.
