At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 18 miles west of Lincolnton to 4 miles northeast of Shelby to 11 miles northeast of Gaffney. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include
Shelby, Kings Mountain, Cherryville, Bessemer City, Belwood, Grover, Lawndale, Patterson Springs, Fallston, and Waco.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 538 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected over the next hour. However, additional thunderstorms with heavy rain are possible this evening. Any additional rain could result in a quick return of flooding across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
