DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Areas of fog, some of it dense at times, will reduce visibilities late tonight and early Friday morning across the Coastal Plain, eastern Sandhills and southern parts of the Triangle area.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
Areas of Dense Fog will Develop across the Coastal Plain and eastern Sandhills Early This Morning
Areas of dense fog will continue to develop and expand north across the southern and central Coastal Plain and the eastern Sandhills during the early morning hours. The most widespread fog with the lowest visibilities will be located across Scotland, Hoke, Cumberland, Sampson, Wayne, and Wilson Counties. Visibilities may be reduced at times to one quarter mile or less. If driving this morning, make sure to allow extra driving time to reach your destination. Reduce driving speeds, increase following distances and use only low beam headlights.
