Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. ADDITIONAL DETAILS

FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM EDT SUNDAY FOR STOKES, EASTERN SURRY, YADKIN AND SOUTHEASTERN PATRICK COUNTIES
At 1014 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 6 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD
