This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast North Carolina.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the outlook late this evening and tonight. Damaging winds, frequent lightning are the main threats, but large hail and even a brief spin up tornado are possible. Additionally, heavy rainfall from slow-moving thunderstorms could lead to isolated instances of flash flooding, especially in flood prone and urban areas.
