This afternoon and tonight. There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe storms through this evening. Damaging wind will be the main hazard. Heavy rainfall is also a threat. In addition, heat indices to around 100 degrees are possible today.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. There is a slight risk (level 2 of 5) of severe storms Saturday afternoon into the evening. Damaging wind will be the main hazard. Heavy rainfall may also produce localized flooding. In addition, heat indices as high as the upper 90s are expected each day through the middle of next week, with readings around 100 degrees possible Sunday and Monday.

Spotter activation may be needed Saturday.
