Southeastern Randolph County in central North Carolina
Southern Alamance County in central North Carolina
WHEN
Until 715 PM EDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 422 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and thunderstorms continuously developing and training over the same areas. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include

DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Scattered to numerous showers and storms will be capable of producing rain rates of 1-2 inches per hour today, which may cause some localized flooding.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Slow moving showers and storms may produce an isolated flooding threat again on Wednesday. While afternoon storms are possible each day through the end of the week, the threat of flooding is expected to decrease.
