Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 804 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Hendersonville, Mills River, Flat Rock, Mountain Home, Laurel Park, Dupont State Forest, Valley Hill, East Flat Rock, Horse Shoe and Crab Creek. - Nuisance to minor flooding may develop along Haywood Road, Blythe Street, Berkley road and locations near Patton Park and William H. King Memorial Park in northern Hendersonville and Battle Creek Road, Randall Farm Road, Davis Mountain Road, and Turley Falls Road southeast of Horse Shoe. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
