At 1146 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Lexington to High Rock Lake to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Movement was southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include
Lexington, Albemarle, Troy, Badin Lake, Linwood, Plyler, Locust, Badin, Oakboro, and Denton. This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 84 and 102.
