DAY ONE
Today and Tonight. Weather hazards expected
Marginal hail risk. Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk. Limited lightning risk. Elevated extreme heat risk. Elevated excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION
Heat index values of 105-110 degrees are possible today in portions of eastern Kansas and far southern and western Missouri, where a Heat Advisory is in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM this afternoon and evening. Severe thunderstorms and flooding will be possible with a complex of storms that develops late tonight into early Wednesday morning in central Missouri. Damaging winds will be the primary hazard.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall will occur Wednesday evening into the overnight hours.
