This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Weather hazards expected
Marginal hail risk. Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk. Limited lightning risk. Limited excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION
Scattered storms will continue across portions of far southern Missouri late this evening, generally south of Highway 60 and west of Highway 65. Additional storms will be possible late tonight into Friday morning across extreme southeastern Kansas and far western Missouri. Small hail and gusty winds could be possible with a few of the stronger storms along with locally heavy rainfall.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday. Additional 30 to 50 percent chances for showers and thunderstorms through Friday night. Primary hazards are lightning and localized heavy rainfall. Heat index values around 100 to 105 degrees will persist through next week.
