This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.
DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight The Heat Advisory will come to a merciful end at 7 PM this evening. A few severe storms cannot be ruled out this evening mainly along the I-64 corridor in southern Illinois. Damaging winds will be the primary severe concern.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are forecast mainly over the Ozark Foothills of southeast Missouri late Monday afternoon. A few strong storms with gusty winds will be possible. A chance of thunderstorms will spread eastward across west Kentucky and the southern tip of Illinois Monday night. Lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary concerns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&
