Today and Tonight. Weather hazards expected
Elevated extreme heat risk. Elevated fire weather risk. DISCUSSION
Afternoon heat index values will reach the 100 to 105 degree range today. Dry vegetation and wind gusts of 15 to 20 mph will produce an Elevated grassland fire danger risk today.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday. A prolonged heat wave will continue through the holiday weekend, with daily highs in the middle 90s to low 100s, and maximum heat index values around 100 to 105.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&
