PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&

The Heat Advisory continues today with highs near 100 degrees. There is up to a twenty percent chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Most will remain dry.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. A Heat Advisory is in effect through 8 p.m. Friday. Highs in the nineties with heat index values of 100 to 105 can be expected. Overnight lows will remain in the seventies.
