THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ALLOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 607 TO EXPIRE FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN MINNESOTA THIS ALLOWS TO EXPIRE 5 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA AITKIN CROW WING PINE IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA CARLTON ST. LOUIS THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AITKIN, BRAINERD, CLOQUET, DULUTH, HINCKLEY, AND PINE CITY. THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE TRIBAL LANDS OF THE FOND DU LAC BAND, SAWYER DISTRICT, THE FOND DU LAC BAND, BROOKSTON DISTRICT, THE FOND DU LAC BAND, CLOQUET DISTRICT, THE MILLE LACS BAND, BIG SANDY LAKE, , LENA LAKE, , EAST LAKE AND, HINCKLEY AREAS AND THE BOIS FORTE BAND, NETT LAKE AND, LAKE VERMILION AREAS.
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
Tonight Scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening. A few storms may become severe in eastern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. The primary severe thunderstorm hazard is large hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter. Locally dense fog is possible late tonight, with visibilities below 0.50 mile across portions of the Arrowhead, northwest Wisconsin, and westward to the Brainerd Lakes Region. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday Additional thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and again Monday. Dense fog could persist into early Friday morning, which could lead to reduced visibility for the Friday morning commute. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
