From 8 AM CDT this morning until 9 PM this evening. IMPACTS
Life-threatening waves and rip currents are expected. Stay out of the water and stay away from dangerous areas like piers and breakwalls.

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions. &&
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Strong northeast winds will lead to hazardous swimming conditions today for Lake Superior near the Twin Ports, including the beaches of Duluth and Superior. Chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms increase late tonight. Severe storms are not expected tonight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents again on Saturday for areas near the Twin Ports, including the beaches of Duluth and Superior. There will be additional rounds of thunderstorm chances Saturday and again early next week. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but a few strong to severe storms are possible Saturday and again Tuesday.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
