This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Areas of fog continue through early this morning and could become locally dense in spots in the I-35 corridor and the US-53 corridor between the Iron Range and Duluth. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for most of northwest Wisconsin through early this morning for more widespread dense fog. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible from east-central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin tonight. Severe weather is not expected.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday A few embedded thunderstorms are possible from east-central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin early Wednesday morning. Severe weather is not expected. Several rounds of thunderstorms are forecast Thursday through Labor Day weekend. There is a small chance of a few strong to severe storms Thursday afternoon through Thursday night. Strong northeast winds over western Lake Superior will create a risk of rip currents at the beaches of the Twin Ports Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
