This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
Tonight A few embedded thunderstorms are possible from east-central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin tonight. Severe weather is not expected. Patchy dense fog with visibility 1/4 mile or less may develop along and north of the Iron Range in north-central Minnesota into the Arrowhead.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday A few embedded thunderstorms are possible from east-central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin early Wednesday morning. Severe weather is not expected. Any fog Wednesday morning will dissipate shortly after sunrise. Several rounds of thunderstorms are forecast Thursday through Labor Day weekend. There is a chance of a few strong storms Thursday afternoon through Thursday night. A stray severe storm can`t be ruled out. Strong northeast winds over western Lake Superior will create a risk of rip currents at the beaches of the Twin Ports Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
