This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Isolated thunderstorms are possible south of Highway 2 today. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning is the main threat.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents Friday afternoon and evening for areas near the Twin Ports, including the beaches of Duluth and Superior. There will be several rounds of thunderstorm chances Friday night and Saturday and again early next week. Widespread severe storms are not expected at this time.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
