This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight Patchy dense fog early this morning, mainly in the Iron Range to I-35 corridor to northwest Wisconsin. Scattered thunderstorms are likely this afternoon into early tonight. A few strong to marginally severe storms, a risk level 1 out of 5, are possible this afternoon and evening. The main storm hazards are wind gusts up to 50 to 60 mph and hail up to the size of pennies to quarters. The best potential for a severe storm is in the Brainerd Lakes. Patchy dense fog returns tonight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday Patchy dense fog lingers into early Tuesday morning. There is a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into early evening in far southern portions of the Northland. Severe weather is not expected. There will be additional chances for scattered storms Thursday evening into Friday.
