This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota and northeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. Isolated storms are possible late this evening through the overnight hours with lightning being the main threat. Cannot rule out small hail and wind gusts between 40-50 mph with any stronger storm. However, considerable uncertainty on whether storms will form or not exists due to disagreements upon the models.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. There is a Marginal Risk, level 1 out of 5, for severe storms across the entire forecast area for both Monday and Tuesday during the evening and overnight hours. Main threats include large hail of 1 to 2 inches in diameter and wind gusts in excess of 60 mph.
