PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING
Patchy dense fog is being observed this morning across portions of the south-central U.P., especially along and south of US-2. Expect localized visibilities less than one quarter mile at times through 11 AM EST/10 AM CST. Drivers are reminded to use low beam headlights, drive at appropriate speeds for conditions, and increase following distance between vehicles.
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper Michigan and western Upper Michigan.
DAY ONE
Today and Tonight Dense fog is developing across the area, with patchy freezing drizzle also possible. This may lead to slick spots and areas of reduced visibility into the morning commute. A few thunderstorms and heavier showers are possible tonight. Some storms may produce hail and gusty winds. Rain accumulations could combine with the existing snowpack to result in ponding of water on roadways.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

The need for weather spotter reports is not anticipated at this time.
