DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight Heat indices near 100 degrees this afternoon will fall into the low to mid 70s tonight. There is a chance of thunderstorms through tonight. Uncertainty exists in timing and overall coverage, but any cell or clusters of cells that can develop will intensify quickly and will pose a risk of damaging winds and large hail along with localized flooding. A Marginal Risk of severe is in place. Storm motion generally northwest southeast at 35 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday Hot and humid air persists tomorrow with heat indices briefly reaching 100 degrees, particularly south of M-59. Increasing chance of storms tomorrow and tomorrow night with a Slight Risk for severe. Exact timing remains uncertain, but damaging winds to 70 mph and localized flooding appear to be the main threats. Large hail and an isolated tornado are also possible. A chance of strong thunderstorms continues for Thursday and Friday as well with locally heavy rain possible.
