This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper Michigan and western Upper Michigan.
DAY ONE
Tonight A few thunderstorms and heavier showers are possible tonight. Some storms may produce hail and gusty winds. Rain could combine with the existing snowpack to result in ponding of water on roadways. Locally dense fog is possible across the area again tonight. This may lead to areas of reduced visibility into Saturday morning.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
The need for weather spotter reports is not anticipated at this time.
AREAS OF DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
Patches and areas of fog are expected this afternoon and early evening in parts of central Upper Michigan. Some locations may experience dense fog, with visibilities at or below a quarter mile. Drivers are reminded to drive at appropriate speeds for conditions, increase the distance between themselves and other vehicles, and ensure your low beam headlights are on.
