This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.
DAY ONE
Tonight A couple Special Marine Warnings may be needed mainly around southern Maryland this evening.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday Multiple disturbances are forecast to move from the Great Lakes to the Mid-Atlantic during the middle of the week. Depending on timing, several rounds of severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday through Friday. Damaging wind gusts are the main threat. Increasing heat and humidity expected this week. Heat indices will peak around 100 to 105 each afternoon, with the hottest conditions possible Wednesday and Thursday.
