Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall could lead to Flash Flooding. Localized amounts over 3 inches of rain will cause flash flooding of small creeks and streams, especially low water crossings. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
