A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following county, Pike. WHEN
Until 1015 PM EDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 721 PM EDT, The public reported minor flooding along Rocky Road in Millard. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain has fallen after thunderstorms moved across across the advisory area. - Additional light rainfall is ongoing over the advisory area. This additional rain will allow minor flooding to persist or worsen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Millard, Fishtrap Lake, Marrowbone, Garden Village, Phyllis, Shelbiana and Kimper.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. && LAT

Through tonight. Thunderstorms are possible through this evening. A few of these storms could produce torrential downpours and isolated flash flooding.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible each day, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Localized instances of flash flooding could develop in any places that see repeated rounds of slow-moving thunderstorms.
