Johns Fork School Weather Advisories
DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky. Areas of dense fog will clear out by mid-morning. In the thickest of the fog visibilities will be well below a quarter of a mile. There is a chance of thunderstorms tonight, mainly in the evening.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Thunderstorms are possible for at least parts of the area on Thursday through Saturday, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
Areas of Dense Fog and Low Clouds Developing
Clearing skies, light winds, and ample low-level moisture are helping areas of fog (and low clouds) to develop and become dense early this morning. This fog will continue to expand through the night with visibilities below a quarter of a mile, at times. Be sure to slow down and use your low beam headlights when you encounter any fog.
