This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. Heat indices may peak in the 100 to 105 degree range in some valley locations and in areas near and west of Interstate 75. Thunderstorms are possible, and could bring locally heavy rainfall which results in isolated flash flooding. The most intense storms may also produce isolated strong to damaging winds.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Thunderstorms are possible at times Saturday, and also Sunday night through Monday night, and again on Thursday. Locations where thunderstorms are the most frequent or persistent could have localized flash flooding. The most intense storms on Saturday could also produce strong to damaging winds.
