DAY ONE
Tonight. Low temperatures around 70 to the lower 70s will provide only limited relief from the daytime heat.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday. Heat index values will peak on as high as the 100 to 108 range on Friday afternoon. Thunderstorms are possible at times from Friday through Tuesday, with chances peaking from Saturday to Saturday evening. Some of the storms on Friday and Saturday could produce strong to locally damaging wind gusts.
