This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Thunderstorms are possible at times, mainly late today and tonight. Locations where thunderstorms are most persistent could have isolated flash flooding. Additionally, the most intense storms could produce damaging winds. In addition to the threat for thunderstorms, hot temperatures and high humidity levels will yield heat indices of 95 to 105 degrees from midday through early this evening.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Thunderstorms are possible at times on Monday, Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesday night through Saturday. Locations where thunderstorms are the most frequent or persistent could have isolated flash flooding. Additionally, the most intense storms on Monday could produce damaging winds.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
Hot and Humid Today
The combination of temperatures rising to near 90 degrees and high humidity levels will result in maximum heat indices of 95 to 105 degrees in most locations this afternoon. Those who are sensitive to the heat are encouraged to take precautions to prevent heat-related illness.
